I must say out of the Box the GSXR 750 is the best sportbike Ive been on to this point, and arguably the reason Suzuki is the only one producing the 750 now.
I shortshifted most of the banking though since my tires were only rated to 163 (Pilot Powers).the indicator is not accurate... i think he is looking for a gps top speed cause theres no point in knowing what the indicator says9876578900987 mph I can get to the moon and back faster then NASASpeedo only goes to 186, you'd have to get a GPS to find out how fast that actually is thoughI went -1 in the front and the dyno said 170 was top speed. Keep it on two wheels when you can and ride to the fullest.I used to have a K4 GSXR 1000, Can’t say no more, except this is a amazing bike.It always annoys me when I read how cheap bikes are.. until I remember I probably don’t have enough common sense to ride one well.So I recently bought a stock 02 750, amazing bike by the way...My buddy has a Honda 954 that has bolt on Akapovic Exhaust and a power commander .
!i bought a 02 gsxr 750 in june of last year love it it kills all the 600s and will hang with the 1000s and handles like a wet dream put on a slip on akrapovic corbon fiber pipe set of pilot power 2ct went one tooth down on front sproket up one on back it will out accelorate about anything through 4th gear im sure it may have hurt the top speed but dont know havent topped it out yetMy 1998 Gsxr-750 SRAD went 182 on the highway yesterday.

Combining the responsive torque and broad, smooth powerband of a heavyweight with the compact size and easier handling of a middleweight. After blowing by where the 300 mark would be I was still pulling hard, exhaust screaming hard too lol, I’m pretty sure it seen 325 or even more before I had to let out, like I said it was still pulling lol, hope to own an identical again some dayJust got a 98 gsxr750 last night for $1500, I have a 07 cbr1000rr and it’s not fair to compare....but damn it’s got kick!

I have not found a gear where he can leave me behind and not only that but its a nose to nose tight race on straight track from launch,though I do lose those races.
