Do you have any Sherwin Williams colors like Ballet White the you recommend for whole house whites (half the house gets strong Southerly sun and the rest is hallways). Again, not the same, but similar idea. Normally, I would recommend waiting to have all of the flooring and lighting finished in a room before choosing a paint color. It also has some more beige/cream warmth to it as well.

After purchasing the E-design in the past and painting our bedroom Big Chill, I just love reading your color reviews. Whether it’s day or night, sunny or cloudy, it ALWAYS looks good!I didn’t want a paint color that had a lot of gray in it. It’s notes likes yours that helps other readers have the confidence to jump ahead with their painting projects, so I SO appreciate the feedback!I am wondering too. Its pretty, but, not as dark as I was hoping for. Our builder will only use SW colors–not just their paint–I’ve gone round and round with them on having Sherwin Williams mix a BM color, but they say they can only apply SW colors to the house. Every time I look at the walls in our bedroom, I am amazed at the way color changes based in time of day.Love, love, love your articles!

Ballet White is a great choice for an exterior as natural light really makes ALL of the aspects of Ballet White (yellow-cream-beige-gray) recede, so that it generally looks like a soft, light, neutral colour with no dominant personality or colour shining through.

Our trim is white.

But REALLY…you should be able to have them colour match.

Benjamin Moore’s Ballet White is the color we painted quite a few of the rooms in our home during our renovation – including the entry, living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway, guest bedroom and master bedroom.

I’ve been sampling several colors and haven’t fallen in love yet. The painter is here this week..need to decide Ballet White for North facing Bedroom with plantation shutters and an adjoining bathroom with light maple cabinets and travertine tile….I dont have time for an e consult plus they are all SOLD OUT !!! My living room is going to be white dove and my dining room ballet white. Wellll, I wouldn’t call it a creamy white, more of a creamy off-white, so if you’re okay with the depth then it’s a good one!Hi Kylie – I’m a faithful reader and always find your advice on paint colours so useful.

That is how I feel about the home. It’s been a couple of years, I still love it though! My walls are a creme color, which I really like, but my cabinets are the fake wood manufacturers cabinets, my questions is, do you think the Ballet White would work for painting kitchen cabinets . Any suggestions? The main living areas are NW facing with views of all the pastures and barn. Personally, I might find it a bit dark for all surfaces. It’s tough finding colors to go with all that wood but ballet white compliments it beautifully.Lila, this is just the BEST comment ever – thank you and Merry Christmas, I’m SO happy that you’re happy :).For kitchen cabinets in “white”, look at BM White DOWN instead of White Dove. Jun 21, 2015 - This past weekend I was able to visit my brother's and sister-in-law's house that I posted about here. Nope, I wish there was, but keep in mind that SW usually does pretty good colour matching, so you could have them whip up a sample pot for you to see how it looks! My husband says he strongly prefers Sherwin Williams paint so I am trying to stay in the Sherwin Williams paint lexicon. Affordable and creative ideas that suit you AND your home with todays best paint colors!Let me save you some time and stress and introduce you to Benjamin Moore’s Ballet White.Ballet White is at HEART, a warm cream paint colour – but it’s not quite that simple. Im think I g if simply white for trim and ceilings. also having the entertainment center painted/refinished…Simply white???

Why? thankyou !Angela, I would do a sample of both colors on pieces of foam board. I mean, this is without seeing your home or anything, but it might help you get closer to what you want! But what is consistent throughout the day is that the color is nothing short of STUNNING in any light. I like more of a soft, subtle look, rather than a stark, contrasting look.

This way I can take a good look at your room via photos and spend some time with your questionnaire answers, otherwise I’m really just shootin’ in the dark! I just got ballet white and love it and it does not have a huge amount of yellow in it. Sherwin Williams paint?

Thinking of perhaps ballet white or Navajo white.
