Its time to rebuild, and Donny Cates brought in a ton of candidates, as you can see in the cover, the full back catalogue of the cosmic universe is in here, all the way from Quasar to the new Cosmic Rider, even Wraith was given a role. This was not as good as f.e. Groot and Star Lord playing off each other were fun and Gammora was an absolute bad ass. But when the Black Order and Thanos's lover Hela attack, only a hodgepodge of heroes remain to guard the galaxy - and if his will is to be believed, Thanos is returning! With Thanos dead at the hands of Gamora during Infinity Wars, the universe's most powerful heroes and villains assemble to hear the reading of his will. That's what I like most about this book, it's a celebration of all these intergalactic characters and storylines, it totally pays off if you've been reading those previous series and makes me wanna re-read the entire Infinity saga from the start.Don't know quite how I feel about this new run yet. a list of 23 titles This one had some too but I guess with Secret Wars it was more forgivable. After stealing a mysterious orb in the far reaches of outer space, Peter Quill from Earth is now the main target of a manhunt led by the villain known as Ronan the Accuser. A group of intergalactic criminals must pull together to stop a fanatical warrior with plans to purge the universe. Let's hope there is more to the next volume.Brian Bendis’ Guardians of the Galaxy might’ve been relaunched with a slightly different lineup - Kitty Pryde is wearing Star-Lord’s clothes and Ben Grimm aka The Thing is there for no reason - but it’s the same repetitive bullshit storylines as before. 3 #0.1, 1-10; Guardians of the Galaxy: Tomorrow 's Avengers #1 312 May 19, 2015 978-0785194002: Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 2: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. Now, more than ever, the cosmos need the Guardians of the Galaxy...but in the aftermath of the Infinity Wars, who is left to answer the call? Does anybody care? Before these things, I was a bit weary about the book. Here, though, he's got This comic features Beta Ray Bill giving Lockjaw a scritch, which is to say, two of my favourite Marvel characters engaged in one of my favourite interactions, yet still manages to be a dull and dispiriting read. But when the Black Order and Thanos's lover Hela attack, only a hodgepodge of heroes remain to guard the galaxy - and if his will is to be believed, Thanos is returning!Wow! The last time that happened, it was the first volume of his Venom run before it went on to his far superior second volume.Generally, I like the writing of Donny Cates, but every so often I come across one that seems more by the numbers. Write your own review of this comic! 1. I don't know. Overall this movie is filled with all the required thrills and spills and is a first class action movie. I did prefer Star-Lord’s old Space-Jockey-esque helmet over this new one which looks like a biker’s helmet and Peter’s emo hairdo is a bit wank too, and I’m not sure why Groot has these weird red lights all over his body, but generally McNiven’s work in this book is among his best.Volume 1 also quickly sets up the cool action, sending the Guardians into battle after battle in a mere 3 issues so we get to see some great sequences and see them as very capable at handling problems themselves. Another old face is back, tPeter Quill has abandoned the Guardians and his role as Star-Lord to be emperor of the Spartax!

Guardians just got a whole lot bigger. 1 has a legendary soundtrack, that is one of the best-selling soundtracks of the decade. The soundtrac… Never has there been such hatred and division across the cosmos. Star Lord has become King of Spartax. It has Cates' tone, but the whole premise is flimsy. This was a newer Guardians of the Galaxy than the one I am used too.
