The white guys are portrayed as Insane Clown Posse fans waxing poetic in a love story while the black victims of these murders are portrayed as mask wearing, gun toting drug dealers. But she only testified against McKee. I also loved the freestyle rapping that served like a Greek chorus. You have the people behind this movie and the people who actually watched it. I recommend it.

I definitely recommend checking it out and interested to see what the director does next. She will serve a two-year parole term. This movie had a great perspective and was a much better quality film than I expected from an Indie. Massaro's attorney, George Lenard, declined to comment about her release or where she will be living.
Well worth it. I, like most, are addicted to my phone.

Was this review helpful? The relationship ends, and jealousy ensues. They hang out with two girls, and a serious relationship forms. I don't usually watch indies but heard this one was worth it. Because of sentencing rules and the time she served in the county jail, however, Massaro actually only served just under four years in state prison. Savage Youth is apparently based on a true story, though I didn't look into the background. I LOVED THIS MOVIE. A solid story line, splendid realistic acting by every actor in this movie, in particular by Will Brittain, who in my opinion will be a star! But Massaro struck a deal and pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery and two counts of concealing a homicide. Was she raped or did she cheat? Based on true events. It is almost imagined and implied, but never really shown. Alex's Top 10 - 2019 1. I thought this was going to be sad, deep, dark and moving.. it's not. Savage Youth is apparently based on a true story, though I didn't look into the background. Six young lives collide in the most horrific and twisted of ways. Seriously, bad movie. This film was not what I expected at all. There are truly groups of kids like this that exist and as a parent, it just makes me want to hang out with our children more and make sure they're hanging with the right crowds.
The characters also seemed to make really weird decisions that pretty much no one would actually do in real life out of nowhere but they had to do them to move the stupid plot of this movie along. "There's still not a day (that) goes by that I don't think about this whole thing," she said.
Massaro initially was one of four people charged with murder for the deaths of Terrance Rankins and Eric Glover, both 22 and from Joliet, in 2013. I was left with some questions that I don't plan to revisit for clarity, yet felt believable in its execution. A heartbreaking portrayal of the entwined tragic lives of outcast twenty-somethings.
