In addition to the film series, Tremors: The Series, a television series that premiered on Syfy, was produced, only to be cancelled after 13 episodes. Sometimes when you are speaking about sequels and prequels some of them are rubbish but not Tremors. It's basically brain candy and not too scary. Good sequel, not a great sequel. The comedy is still good but what made Tremors so good was the suspense and the scary bits were extremely good. The desert setting means that the characters are devoid of much human contact and they don't have easy access to the police or the media.
