At least for the winter - Im really wanting to avoid paying $150+ per month for storage. So I don't hose myself for resale by building a garage too small for the wakeboarders, what size garage is necessary for some of the bigger boats? But if you are looking 2010 + the Axis A20/22 may be an option. If you end up with the Axis A20 and you get the tower mirror, you'll have to remove it each time you go in/out of the garage. With a trailer that has a break away tongue you can close it all in there. Is that the height of the frame or the door?An Axis A20 will fit perfect in that garage. my sanger fit with a slight tower leg mod. In the end the mirror may be an inch higher than the windshield.

Yeah, 20 ft with break away tongue is what I have in mind. When I traded up in 2010 to my next 226, it wouldn't fit in the garage with the tower folded....9' 2" I believe..... so we had our contractor build an out building so we could add a panel...or two...to the garage door to fit my 226. I have my G21 in there now....fits with tower down also. Latest. We like it.I uploaded some photos here, just click through them (last 3 photos in the list). By Garrett Cortese. But it can be much more difficult to identify the specific models that fit both your budget and your desires.

If it fits, you'll take it.A20 should fit under a 7 foot door. In fact I think I'm at 6'10". I also thought most platforms are easily removable. As mentioned, look real close at the height of the tower when it's folded. My support arms fold all the way into the boat and the cross bar sits just above the rear bench seat. Boats. How-To. Without the break away tongue you will have about 8 inches out.My little baby '83 stars and stripes fits in with a foot to spare.. but, I suppose it's a ski boat, not a wakeboat. I had my boat in indoor storage last summer but this summer they raised the rates up to nearly $200 a month. Not the most fun to do every time I go out but my indoor storage raised the price to close to $200 a month. You could def get that A20 under a 7' door. I think they did this so the inside would be more roomy. MB used to call it out right on the site that it would clear a 7' door.I only recently bought it and the weather hasn't been good enough for a "usual" crew but I've been out with anywhere from 3 to 8 people (~3 kids at the time) and it doesn't feel cramped. I am in same boat (pun intended lol) and have looked at every boat known to man.

I was able to get a quad, 3 motorcycles, and two push lawn mowers in there with it.. which is an ish-ton of stuff.. but there was just no way to get a car in there with it.look for a trailer that breaks at the hitch. Would a 12' x 25' work well? My friend Matt Bishop puts his A20 in his garage almost every night. The 2 foot or so of platform will eat up the remaining length for the 23 foot garage.

I know I could comfortably fit the boat and trailer in a 12' x 25' (interior) garage with a 10' or 11' door. It's going to be a chore to get a ~20' boat and a car in a 23' double-garage.
