I learned a heavy crimp is needed to get it to burn completely as well, much more so than h110.I was never able to achieve those velocities in a revolver with jacketed bullets without pressure signs.

Any recommendations for load manuals that would cover using 700x in .38/.357 pretty extensively.

In rifles, this powder delivers excellent velocity and accuracy in such cartridges as the 22 Hornet and 221 Fireball. I'm starting to really like 300mp, it seems to get better once you get into the heavy for caliber bullets (180+ in 357, 300+ in 44, 340+ in 454) high resistance bullets it begins to get happy.

I don't use it in handguns, but found it very efficient in the Carbine, and very accurate, too. I have the one load/one book for .38 special as well as the free IMR pdf.

Speer 357 Mag 158gr JHP W-296 min 13.2 gr, max 14.7 gr; H-110 13.9gr min, 15.5gr max ... On Hodgdon's online loading data, I selected the .44 Rem Mag cartridge, a bullet weight, and W296 powder. Silhouette shooters claim it is the most accurate 44 powder they have ever used.

.357 Magnum Rifle (Hodgdon Data) reloading data with 102 loads. Hodgdon has load data for Clays and the .357 Magnum with 4 bullet weights but only for lead bullets, not jacketed bullets.
It would seem from reading Hodgdon that LIL'GUN has some advantage over H110 in 357 mag 158 gr. This was across my PACT Professional Chronograph.
