First check the inputs and then check the outputs while slowly turning the wheel.Would the inputs and outputs of the LM339 pulse or slowly climb in voltage?first, i'd check the resistor pack, and make sure it's not open.I just checked the 5 different resistor packs associated with the LM339's and they all check out good.Could you take known good LM339s and piggy back them onto the ones on your board to test?

I did verify connectivity from the control panel harness back to the board. Since each 7414 chip has 6 inverters, with only 2 being used, I still had a couple more on each chip I could tie into. I assumed this meant the ground connection was good at the board.

Looking at the schematic, it looks like 2 of the signals go to a LM339A and the 3rd signal goes to a second LM339A. What else can I check? It would have been easier to track if the whole thing was dead or if 1 or 2 out of 3 steering wheels were dead. JavaScript is disabled.
