I literally just got the Fabric Leap v2 on Sunday and my lower back is killing me. I can only speculate. Having back pain is definitely not normal. Move forward to today and I have been sitting in the gesture . i tried both the leap and gesture at the steelcase dealer. The seat cushion was too soft and bottomed out too easily. I’m so confused on what is driving the pain.

Posting here since it seems like all my searches of reddit regarding the Steelcase Gesture show up in this subreddit.I received my gesture this morning and I'm still feeling it out. I'm coming from a crappy 130 dollar Amazon leather office chair, am about 5'10.For the most part, everything fits pretty well. But when sitting upright, I felt that if the lower lumbar can dig deeper for about 2cm and if it can be firmer, then it would be a perfect chair.
It will spread out the pressure of your weight over a larger contact area. Also the gesture back is kind of narrow and doesn’t hold up your entire back like the Aeron or Leap would.
