Review of 2 Disc 2004 Warner Bros edition(with orange & white cover)- As this well known film(from 1951) is equally well analysed & described In many other reviews I'll just give an overview of what's on the discs.Diabolique, intriguing, morally ambiguous and wonderfully directed and narrated.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 7, 2015 It’s a very good film too, effectively staged, full of interesting scenes and characters, with first-rate camerawork and atmospheric lighting; Hitchcock builds the tension well throughout the film’s 96 minute duration. Anything made by Alfred Hitchcock has got to be good. Strangers On A Train, a masterpiece, presented here in a finely produced HD release. I love that this movie in black and white, the only bobble for me, is the Merry Go Round Scene, although it is still pretty darn good, GREAT FLICK, if you like quiet.... menacing drama......Hitch! I read the book after seeing the movie and I was biased by the images from the film that kept popping before my eyes. In my opinion, this is the BEST American made Alfred Hitchcock film !!!! His dark, perverse character is the epitome of evil with a smiling face. A psychiatrist protects the identity of an amnesia patient accused of murder while attempting to recover his memory. Marion Lorne, "Aunt Clara" on TV's BEWITCHED, has a lovely role as Bruno's uncomprehending mother. a good service from amazon this is a classic film and on Blu-ray just what I need for my collection An excellent film by Hitchcock which does not get the recognition is deserves. Hitchcock insisted on using him (see "Rope")....he obviously saw something in him. His personality is so unattractive that it makes you wonder how Ruth Roman could ever be in love with him.
