I was sceptical about what the results would really be like on virgin hair  after watching many tutorials recommending bleaching it first (no thanks), also because this it is a semi permanent treatment without any harsh chemicals.The next morning my pillows were just fine and it didn’t seem to stain any more of my body, though when I was straightening my hair, my hands turned a lovely shade of blue. Not sure how dark your hair is already but in my light brown hair, this dye did fade with a bit of a green tint.
You can also get a deep midnight blue adding a small dollop of Transylvania to a base of Poseidon or Blue Jean Baby.
