It is my "go to" weapon, even over the Tonkor. The S.Tigris is nice to 1 shot things, and is a good weapon - but I personally feel it is inferior to the V.Hek.I realized I liked the vaykor hek much more when I was farming a ton of T3Cs one day. All rights reserved.

V.Hek has a tight scatter pattern and is still viable at Medium range. Also, does this factor in quick reloading for the Tigris? With a critical build, the Vaykor Hek deals roughly 40% more sustained DPS than its regular counterpart. With shotguns you typically aim to oneshot the enemy if possible. Very high status chance. I could kill the capture target in a single clip with the vaykor hek and I only had primed ravage at 8/10 and point blank at 9/10. The Hek has a longer range and correct me if I'm wrong but afaik the Tigris won't ragdoll enemies back into each other (causing damage) since it's primarily slash damage.I am not going to argue which one is better, you can decide on your own based on the maxed builds of both:These builds seem pretty different. It would take me at least that many shots with the sancti tigris and I had to wait for a reload every second. At worst it is a ridiculously powerful single shot shotgun with a fairly decent reload. One is spec'd for Blast, one for Corrosive. Vaykor Hek has a way better dps due to its larger fire rate. only the corinths alt-fire is worth considering when comparing those two weapons - and then, it still fails because of the different mechanic of those used fire-modes. The Vaykor Hek is a sidegrade; the Sancti Tigris is a straight buff to a weapon that was already top tier.I'd call a second version of a Syndicate weapon that can't accept the original augment from the very same Syndicate wins "fundamentally flawed concept" hands down.

One is built for crits, other is pure damage. It is really fun to be able to actually use it since you rarely runs missions where using the antimatter drop is way more efficient than for instance shooting with a tonkor or sinoid simulor.I got both with maxed mods and there isnt even room to talk about;Vaykor Hek has the better sustained dps, you basically deal alot less damage but you do it for a longer time before reloading but the active proc from the syndicate effect is worse compared to the tigris. The Vaykor Hek has superior burst and sustained DPS and higher uptime, but the Sancti Tigris has better single shot (or double shot) damage. The Vaykor Hek also isn't a fundamentally flawed concept like the Sancti Tigris is, so I'd give the Vaykor Hek the victory just for that. Burst DPS and sustained DPS of the vaykor hek is much higher than hek and even sancti tigris. What about a Synoid Simulor? Going for a status chance build isn’t really worth the mod slots, since the Vaykor Hek (and every other shot gun in the game) needs 100% status chance before it actually works as planned. One has punch-through, the other doesn't.I understand that the guns have different quirks that make them more or less ideal for various builds (i.e. Worth trading the V Hek for it?Sorry, this post was deleted by the person who originally posted it.It doesn't appear in any feeds, and anyone with a direct link to it will see a message like this one.New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be castReddit community and fansite for the free-to-play third-person co-op action shooter, Warframe. Vaykor Hek is useful in crit builds whereas Sancti Tigris isn't), but it looks to me like these are really too different to reasonable compare numbers based off of these entirely different builds.the sancti tigris is much better, the vakor hek is equivalent in DPS to the base hek.The vaykor hek has almost the same damage per shot as the hek. 1. 2. The damage for both is great, and I'd take the Sancti Tigris against flesh targets, or the Infested.Sancti Tigris, or "How to make huddled mobs to giblets in a single shot.
