Square hardware can only be used in the country where it was originally purchased. I’ve tried a hard reset, signing in and out.

That definitly shouldn't be happening. @naplesportraits - Kudos on your first post! I've restarted my iPad and everything is on the latest update. Once you go into Airplane Mode, connect your Bluetooth back on to be able to use your reader.
