It is in the cores folder and it works fine to run the games in Retroarch in BIN/CUE format using the CUE files to load them. Genesis Plus GX is an open-source Sega 8/16 bit emulator focused on accuracy and portability.

RetroArch is a frontend for emulators, game engines and media players. Genesis Plus GX 4DO Redbook Audio Player (Audio CD core) We have also added support to more cores, but for now we want to go with these cores as they have been most extensively tested.
126 61 Genesis Plus GX has 100% compatibility with Genesis / Mega Drive, Sega/Mega CD, Master System, Game Gear, SG-1000 & Pico released software (including all unlicensed or pirate known dumps), also emulating backwards compatibility modes when available. lr-genesis-plus-gx can load MegaDrive TMSS startup ROM (bootrom): bios_MD.bin. Setting this core option to per game allows each game to have its own one brm file, thus negating any lack of available space issues.Enable the Master System FM chip.
